Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Concord, California

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Concord, California. The role involves managing the company's financial planning and reporting activities, which includes budget planning, financial forecasting, and risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and the ability to work across multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's financial planning and reporting activities including monthly reporting of key enterprise information, annual operating budget, and long-range financial plan.

• Support the annual budget and rolling forecast process, creating financial forecasts for revenues, expenses, headcount, and capital expenditure.

• Compile and analyze financial information, developing integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.

• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring the financial information has been recorded accurately.

• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments, performing financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

• Assemble profitability and financial risk analyses with both a near-term and long-term focus.

• Assist in preparing the financial analysis of various proposals requested from operations or internally within the Finance department.

• Partner with administrative and operational functions to provide financial support.

• Participate in internal and external continuing education and share a general overview with colleagues during staff meetings.

• Lead and direct the work of others, demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Demonstrate a high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and complete tasks under strict timelines.

• Show a drive to deliver outstanding results and exercise good judgment. Requirements • Must have 10+ years of experience in a financial analyst role

• Proficiency in Bond Financing is required

• Experience in preparing an Annual Budget is necessary

• Knowledge of StrataJazz software is beneficial

• Familiarity with managing and evaluating Capital Assets

• Understanding of calculating Return on Investment

• Experience in the HealthCare Industry is a plus

• Expertise in Financial Modeling is required

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
