Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Concord, North Carolina. This role will require maintaining a supportive environment for our team, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth HR operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily functions of the HR department including administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
Coordinate employee communication and respond to queries regarding HR-related matters.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date employee records.
Support in coordinating interaction sessions, staff meetings, and other HR events.
Collaborate with HR manager to ensure that all procedures comply with legal regulations.
Undertake tasks around performance management processes.
Provide support in other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant HR/administrative role.
Familiarity with HR operations and labor laws.
Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
