Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Concord, New Hampshire. This role is central to our accounting operations, with a focus on managing and processing accounts payable. The role is based within the financial services industry and requires a meticulous approach to data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the process of accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are correctly coded and processed in a timely manner.
• Perform account reconciliation tasks to verify that all payments are accurate.
• Run checks on a regular basis to maintain the smooth functioning of accounts payable.
• Keep precise records of all customer credit information and update these records as necessary.
• Address any inquiries related to customer credit and resolve them efficiently.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect overdue payments.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to keep track of accounts payable and other related tasks.
• Ensure all data entry related to accounts payable is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaboratively work with the team to streamline the accounts payable processes.
• Use problem-solving skills to address and rectify any issues related to accounts payable. Requirements • Must have experience in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management is required
• Experience in Check Runs is essential
• Must have skills in Coding Invoices
• Proficiency in Data Entry is needed
• Experience in Invoice Processing is crucial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks
