Description
As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering employee benefit programs within our organization. You will be responsible for various tasks including enrollment processing, plan document review, facilitating open enrollment, and providing essential support for all benefits-related inquiries. We are seeking an individual with exceptional customer service skills, adaptability to diverse cultures, and a high level of intelligence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate maturity, professionalism, and the ability to handle some accounting functions within the HR Benefits department.
Key Responsibilities:
Enrollment Management:
Oversee new hires, terminations, and changes to benefits.
Ensure accurate integration with HR and payroll systems.
Plan Document Review:
Review benefit plan documents for compliance with regulations and company policies.
Communicate changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Open Enrollment Assistance:
Assist in planning and executing open enrollment periods.
Provide guidance to employees on benefit options and enrollment procedures.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous HR or benefits experience preferred.
Strong understanding of benefit regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and Workday HRIS system.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
