Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Coppell, Texas

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Coppell, Texas. This role is in the IT industry, and you will be responsible for managing and supporting a variety of devices, including phones, laptops, and tablets. Additionally, you will be required to stay current on new technology trends and train other staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and provide support for Apple mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, and Android devices.

• Handle the imaging of Dell laptops and Computers for distribution across various domains.

• Manage warranty services and support claims with vendors.

• Operate various software and hardware vendor portals.

• Set up and provide support for printers.

• Understand and manage networks.

• Maintain an inventory of devices and parts.

• Work within a ticketing system to provide business support.

• Procure new hardware and replacement devices.

• Ensure the company's Cybersecurity posture is maintained by keeping system patching up to date.

• Use the ticketing and Purchasing system to enter, track, and close all client transactions accurately and consistently.

• Preserve the privacy of all client data.

• Provide end-user support on iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.

• Research solutions for uncommon issues and work independently.

• Document systems, processes, and procedures.

• Communicate and demonstrate techniques while cross-training other employees on various applications and hardware.

• Maintain a clean work environment. Requirements • Proficiency in Computer Imaging

• Strong working knowledge of Apple Devices

• Expertise in Windows Desktop

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to provide technical assistance and support to users

• Experience in setting up and managing user accounts

• Ability to maintain and update documentation of processes and troubleshooting guides

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Basic understanding of network protocols and infrastructure

• Familiarity with system and software updates and patches

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations
