Robert Half Quality Manager in Coppell, Texas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager in Coppell, Texas. This role involves leading the quality function across various business units, managing team performance, and ensuring customer requirements are met through effective quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage an ISO system to improve or fix processes

• Oversee the workload organization across departments for maximum efficiency and company goal attainment

• Develop effective quality control processes based on customer needs and requirements

• Manage process, quality, and document assessments as per client instructions for verification of FAI requirements

• Review and devise specifications for products or processes

• Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements, setting approval and rejection thresholds for products

• Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical and root-cause analysis

• Seek customer feedback to assess requirement fulfillment and identify needed improvements

• Report on quality audit findings and recommend steps for improvement

• Set requirements for suppliers' raw material or intermediate products and monitor their compliance

• Create and Manage a 5S/6S program, including developing standards, overseeing internal audits, and recognition

• Conduct internal audits to validate current quality processes according to quality manual

• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal quality policies and procedures

• Oversee operational procedures to identify deviations from quality standards

• Collaborate with other departments to enhance processes and elevate quality standards to meet all customer requirements. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Management role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 9000.

• Experience with ISO 9001 is essential.

• Six Sigma certification or experience is required.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Proven track record of implementing quality management systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
