We are supporting one of our Coral Gables based clients in their search for a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Assistant. The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting the HR Manager in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of HR best practices, proficiency in HR payroll processing software(ADP), experience in developing and implementing OKRs and KPIs to measure employees’ performance, advanced excel skills, availability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. This role does require fluency in both English and Spanish. The position is hybrid.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Responsible in the development, implementation and follow up progress of objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure employee performance.

• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, premium payments, and inquiries.

• Provide support for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.

• Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

• Handle employee inquiries and provide assistance with HR-related issues.

• Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, performance reviews, and salary survey.

• Collaborate with the manager to drive process improvements and enhance the employee experience.

• Stay updated on relevant HR laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

• Assist with monthly headcount; monthly reports, maintain org charts.

• Support immigration and visa processes for employees.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on payroll processing

• Proficiency in payroll processing software, preferably ADP Workforce Now.

• Experience with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.

• Experience in developing and implementing OKRs and KPIs to measure employees’ performance.

• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
