Description
Robert Half is seeking highly talented and ambitious Sr Director of FP& A for rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. Your responsibilities
Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle
Prepare financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis
Support and oversee the day-to-day operations of the financial planning team
Support regulatory filings
Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Address and improve strategic issues by working in cross-functional development teams
Perform financial analysis and valuation related to mergers and acquisitions
Aid with financial deliverables for the executive team
Supervise financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts
Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Oversee the employee hiring process, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
Contribute to financial analysis support for forecasting and corporate budgeting processes
Analyze budget and fiscal assumptions in the creation of operating plans
Requirements
5-7+ years of experience in FP& A required
Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
Must have high business acumen
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Skilled in building relationships and communication
2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
Possess qualifications to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
Good written skills in English. Spanish a plus.
Experienced with multiple software implementations
