Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant in Coral Springs, Florida

Description An immediate employment opportunity has become available for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. What you get to do every single day

  • Create cash flow projections, as needed

  • Summarize business license and gross receipts

  • Maintain Accounts Payable

  • Govern monthly accounting close

  • Direct Accounts Receivable

  • Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Adept in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Assemble cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Catalog budget transfers

  • Alternative special projects as requested Requirements - Noteworthy accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Expertise in Quickbooks Online

  • Proven knowledge of Approved Invoices

  • Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks

  • Deep understanding of Quickbooks Premier

  • Well-founded grasp of Purchase Orders

  • Quickbooks ProAdvisor experience highly desired

  • Foundational knowledge in QuickBooks Pro

  • General familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Practical knowledge of commercial collections

  • Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

    • 5+ years of related experience- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
