Robert Half Account Manager in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Account Manager in the manufacturing industry, based in CORAOPOLIS, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, providing product advice, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining relationships with both current and new customers

• Providing product advice and technical support to customers

• Preparing accurate and timely quotations and sales orders

• Answering customer inquiries via telephone, fax, and email, and entering information into company databases

• Ensuring company standards are met and suggesting improved processes when necessary

• Developing quotations in accordance with company policy and based on information collected from customers or partners

• Taking ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

• Suggesting related and new items to customers, explaining technical features in line with the company's ethical policy

• Staying up-to-date on changes, new products, and developments within the company and the manufacturing industry

• Collaborating effectively with Operations, CAD, Shipping, Sales, Finance, and Management, including the communication of customer updates, strategy, and preparation of weekly/monthly reports

• Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Requirements • Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry is essential

• Proven track record as an Account Manager

• Strong competencies in Inside Sales and Inbound Outbound Calls

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients

• Proficiency in using various software for data management and analysis

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to continuously improve and adapt to new situations

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
