We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst with our client located west of Pittsburgh. The chosen candidate will be part of our team assisting with vital tasks related to managing and maintaining our IT systems.

Responsibilities: • Assisting with the setup and provisioning of new systems for incoming employees. • Performing regular checks to ensure all systems are free from viruses. • Managing the inventory of IT equipment and ensuring all devices are accounted for and maintained. • Providing support for various systems and platforms, including Database, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, and Configuration Management. • Ensuring all systems are running on the latest version of Microsoft Windows and performing necessary updates. • Assisting in the imaging process of PCs to ensure they are configured correctly. • Troubleshooting and resolving any IT related issues promptly. • Providing support and guidance to users, ensuring they can fully utilize our IT systems. • Regularly reviewing our IT systems to identify potential improvements. • Collaborating with the rest of the IT team to ensure the smooth running of all systems.

Requirements • Possess at least one year of relevant experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar position • Proficient in Database management and Configuration Management • Solid understanding and skills in Active Directory • Knowledge of Backup Technologies is essential • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues • Strong communication skills to effectively assist staff with technical issues • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team • Must be available for on-call support as required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred • Relevant certifications in IT Support will be considered an advantage.
