Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Cordova, Tennessee


We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This role functions within the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a CPA firm, offering the opportunity to manage the complete accounting cycle for a diverse client base. The position requires a strong background in CPA firms and the ability to navigate through various client accounts with precision and efficiency.


• Engage closely with a portfolio of clients, ranging from small businesses to enterprises, to understand their unique financial needs and provide personalized solutions.

• Manage the entire monthly accounting cycle for assigned clients, which includes accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records.

• Produce comprehensive month-end financial reports for clients, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and collaborate with tax professionals for tax planning and compliance.

• Utilize extensive experience working within CPA firms to navigate complex accounting scenarios and provide expert solutions.

• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy in all tasks.

• Thrive in a fast-moving environment where the ability to switch between clients seamlessly is essential.

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving client needs and industry changes.

• Leverage proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and other related skills to perform accounting functions, manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and billing functions.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Must be able to demonstrate full charge bookkeeping experience

• Ability to manage all financial transactions for the company

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
