Description

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team based in Cordova, Tennessee. This role primarily involves ensuring the proper establishment and maintenance of our promotional programs within applicable systems. The position is crucial for safeguarding company assets through prompt validation and process of payment and deduction data.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain promotional items in the applicable system, including trade rebates, brokerage, buying group rebates, operator promotions, and label allowances.

• Address inquiries from customers and business partners related to promotional items and communicate findings promptly.

• Process and maintain applicable system or database for the preparation of payment requests for trade-related items.

• Receive incoming deduction documents and support from team members or customers for trade-related items, and review to determine if the program has been set up.

• Analyze database items for accuracy compared to customer deductions/payment requests, price changes, and more.

• Prepare credit requests for items that are supported by existing trade programs and resolve any discrepancies with Sales and/or customers.

• For invalid trade deduction items, contact the customer to secure repayment providing necessary information to support the amount allowed by the company for the trade program.

• Maintain deduction database information in the relevant system and keep physical files of deductions currently open and in the resolution process.

• Prepare reports as needed to track the status of payment requests and deduction balances, and to communicate progress to management.

• Collaborate closely with onsite teams and participate in onsite meetings to drive departmental objectives.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analyst role or similar position

• Proficiency in CapEx, CRM, Crystal Reports, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and Management System

• Experience with About Time, Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, Cash Activity, and Compliance

• Strong skills in Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel, Pivot Table, and VLOOKUP

• Experience in Demand Forecast, Financial Forecast, Forecasting, and Analysis

• Proven track record in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis and Sales Analysis & Reporting

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Must have legal right to work in the location of the job.
