Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Corona, California

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Corna, California. You will be an integral part of the financial operations of our business, focusing on processing and managing payments, maintaining accurate records, and resolving invoice discrepancies. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of financial transactions within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Process third-party delivery invoices with accuracy and efficiency

• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure timely payments

• Verify sales and purchase orders to address any discrepancies related to invoices

• Review and process customer rebate applications

• Maintain organized and accurate records of invoices, approvals, and related documentation

• Use SAP to input and update financial data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

• Collaborate with the operations team to collect necessary documentation for accurate invoice processing

• Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Process claims inspection invoices, ensuring compliance with company guidelines

• Support the accounting department with various tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and other accounting-related duties.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Skilled in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Oracle

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks and SAP

• Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and tasks concurrently

• Excellent organization and time management skills.
