Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Corona, California. The role will be situated in the non-profit industry, providing administrative support and ensuring smooth office operations.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a key administrative support figure, including tasks such as answering phones, managing office supplies, and scheduling meetings.
• Aid in the translation of documents and communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or team members.
• Act as a point of contact for Mandarin-speaking clients, ensuring clear and professional communication.
• Maintain and manage organized records, files, and databases.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation.
• Carry out general clerical duties including data entry, photocopying, and filing.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries when necessary.
• Support project management activities and perform other administrative tasks as required.
• Facilitate communication between English and Mandarin-speaking clients or team members.
• Handle customer service tasks such as answering inbound calls and email correspondence.
Requirements
Must speak fluent in Mandarin language
• Demonstrated experience in administrative assistance or related roles within the non-profit sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
• Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in handling inbound and outbound calls
• Ability to manage and schedule appointments effectively
• Experience in email correspondence, ensuring clear and professional communication
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions when required
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
