Robert Half Facilities Manager in Corpus Christi, Texas
Description We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team in Corpus Christi, Texas. The role includes overseeing the operation, maintenance, and improvement of our building infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This is a key strategic position that involves coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, managing resources, and implementing standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the facility infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for facility infrastructure and maintenance
• Coordinate with IT and Operations teams and vendors for efficient functioning of equipment
• Manage the schedule for preventative and emergency maintenance of all facility systems
• Oversee and coordinate repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Monitor and manage the power supply and distribution systems for efficient energy usage
• Oversee the liquid cooling systems to maintain optimal temperatures for equipment
• Ensure the facility meets all security requirements, including physical security, access control, and surveillance systems
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards
• Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses
• Lead and manage the facilities team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and practices to improve facility operations and reduce costs
• Participate in the planning and execution of facility expansions or upgrades
• Develop long-term strategies for the maintenance and enhancement of the facility’s infrastructure. Requirements • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or relevant position for a minimum of 5 years.
• Knowledge of technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
• Competency in using Atlassian Jira, Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, and CRM.
• Proficiency in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and About Time software.
• Experience in AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of Budget Processes and Change Management in the context of facilities management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant professional qualification in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
