Responsibilities Include:

· Personnel – Maintain employee files (personnel and insurance). Assist with tracking time off, short-term disability, FMLA. Assist with collection of required documents (I9, beneficiary forms, tax forms, etc.). Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing, timesheet collection.

· Staffing – Assist with managing legal assistant coverage during absences or time-off. Monitor staffing levels and recommend adjustments where necessary.

· Recruiting –Oversee the summer associate recruiting process. Assist with lateral staff recruiting process, work with recruiters, develop job descriptions and job postings.

· Onboarding – work with Dir. Of HR to onboard all new hires.

· Benefits – Manage benefit enrollment and changes for health benefits, 125 plan and voluntary benefits.

· Wellness – Assist Dir. of HR to establish wellness goals for the firm that align with the goals and objectives of the Health + Wellness Committee. Assist with overseeing the firm’s wellness program, which may include an annual wellness fair and the creation of annual wellness program that meets the H + W Committee goals and objectives. This may include tracking incentives.

· Appreciation Events –Assist with events held by the firm to celebrate our staff.

· Invoices – Reconcile monthly invoices. Track reimbursement requests.

· Other Related Tasks – You might be asked to perform other job-related tasks not listed here.



· Strong analytical skills, good reasoning abilities, sound judgment, resourcefulness

· Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, and organization

· Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity

· Ability to work with limited supervision and high motivation

· Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines

· Strong computer skills (MS Office and Outlook)

· Knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration
