Description
Are you a Property Accountant looking for a new "home"? If so, Robert Half may have the position for you. As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be tasked with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance. This full-time role offers solid compensation and benefits along with possibility for growth. This Senior Property Accountant role is with a company in the Real Estate investment field and is located in Corte Madera, California.
What you get to do every day
Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Perform CAM reconciliations
Requirements
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
Excellent attention to detail
Proven knowledge of bank reconciliations
General familiarity with journal entries
Quality experience with month end closings
Skills in Microsoft Excel
Wide ranging experience with Financial Statement
Earlier work involving budget management
Solid understanding of general ledger
Proficiency in account reconciliation
Practical knowledge of Balance Sheets
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience
Well-founded grasp of CAM Reconciliation
Previous experience working with Yardi
Fixed Asset Ledger experience
Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Strong time management skills preferred
