Robert Half International Digital Media Planner in Costa Mesa, California

Description

TCG is looking for a Digital Media Planner for a contract role. Candidates for this role MUST be local to Costa Mesa, CA.

The Digital Media Planner will be supporting a fast-paced media department to heighten consumer engagement across all target markets. S/he will work across all media channels with an understanding of branding principles and ROI-driving tactics. The ideal candidate will have experience planning, executing, and analyzing digital campaigns. S/he will be a self-starter, have strong attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and a strong desire to learn.

In this role, the Digital Media Planner will:

  • Initiate creative uses of digital media relevant to business (including display, mobile, social, paid search, rich media, and video)

  • Maintain media plans (e.g. changes, budgeting, reporting, and optimization)

  • Develop buy specs and reconcile budgets

  • Create and update digital flowcharts

  • Craft post-campaign reports & decks

  • Develop and foster strong relationships with various media partners

  • Evaluate media opportunities and provide solid and actionable POVs

  • Investigate and utilize information from syndicated research sources

Requirements

  • Must have an understanding of online media planning, implementation, and optimization

  • Must understand digital media metrics and cost models (CPM, CPC, CPA, CPV)

  • Knowledge of planning, buying, optimizing display campaigns across programmatic, remarketing,

publisher direct, native, ad network, mobile, and other digital platforms

  • Ability to analyze web metrics efficiently and provide campaign effectiveness reports to clients

  • Analytical aptitude to gather and interpret reporting metrics from various sites

  • Strong understanding of Digital Media Math and media planning principles

  • Proficient knowledge of ad serving [DCM], conversion tracking [GTM, pixel placement], and ideas

around attribution models

  • Ability to see things from all points of view, including billing, finance, account management, creative, tech, and executive management

  • Ability to develop creative solutions to problems in relation to tactical and strategic budgeting
