Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst in Costa Mesa, California. The role involves a strong focus on inventory and asset management, user support, and software application support within the telecom industry. The successful candidate will be expected to handle a high volume of tickets and provide solutions to a range of user issues.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory of purchased hardware from vendors ensuring they are accurately recorded in the asset management system.

• Deploy imaged hardware such as laptops and desktops to users, while offering support for iPads/iPhones as required.

• Provide deskside support to users and handle walk-up inquiries.

• Support users with issues relating to logging in, software access, and application access.

• Oversee license management to ensure adequate licensing for various applications.

• Contribute to the roll-out of new software platforms, such as Lumos Access Management.

• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, provide end-user support, and administer systems as required.

• Transition from using Jira to ServiceNow for ticketing system.

• Leverage skills in Desktop Support, Microsoft SCCM, and JAMF Casper Suite to effectively support user base.

• Handle a high volume of tickets daily, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support positions.

• Proficient in Desktop Support, including troubleshooting, system upgrades, and general maintenance.

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SCCM for system deployment and patch management.

• Familiarity with JAMF Casper Suite for Apple device management is a must.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical users.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Must have a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and system procedures.

• A relevant IT certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Willingness to stay updated on current technologies and trends in desktop support. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
