Description
We are seeking a Senior-level Accountant to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. This role is part of the accounting team and will be involved in the general accounting functions of the department. You will be expected to work closely with other members of the team and provide guidance within the department when necessary. This role falls under a contract employment type.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting functions for the department
• Collaborate with other members of the Accounting Team
• Supervise personnel and lead within the department when necessary
• Apply GAAP principles in financial preparation
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for efficient workflow
• Perform ad hoc financial tasks as required
• Handle 401k - RRSP Administration duties
• Manage general ledger systems
• Understand and apply principles of healthcare accounting
• Utilize skills in commission and incentive bonus calculations.
Requirements • Proficiency in GAAP Accounting Principles
• Experience in General Ledger System and Financial System
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial operations
• Skills in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Experience in Accounting Functions such as supervising, commissions, and incentive bonus
• Knowledge of Medical and Dental coverage
• Experience in Benefit Functions and Clinical Trial Operations
• Familiarity with HealthCare.gov
• Possession of relevant Licensure in accounting or related field.
