Description
We are seeking a bilingual Spanish HR Generalist to join our team in Covina, California. As an HR Generalist, your duties will be versatile and multifaceted, involving the management of employee relations, adherence to labor laws, and the execution of recruitment and onboarding processes. Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations, including conducting investigations and resolving cases.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, including keeping track of minimum wage laws.
• Conduct recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new employees.
• Manage timesheets, including approving and reviewing them regularly.
• Assist with tax-related matters as required.
• Conduct performance reviews to provide feedback and promote professional development.
• Handle workers' compensation cases, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
• Oversee benefit functions, ensuring all employees understand and utilize their benefits effectively.
• Use various HR tools such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce for efficient HR operations.
• Implement and maintain compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and California Labor Law.
• Conduct full-cycle recruiting to ensure the organization is staffed with qualified personnel.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
• Must be bilingual Spanish
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software
• Understanding of benefit functions and the ability to communicate effectively
• Experience in ensuring compliance with relevant legal and organizational rules
• Proven track record in managing employee relations
• Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) rules and regulations
• Knowledge of California Labor Law
• Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting
• Understanding of Workers Compensation laws and regulations
• Experience in approving and reviewing timesheets
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
