Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Cranford, New Jersey
Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional with outstanding organizational skills and an eye for detail. To succeed in this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, maintain cash receipts. This is a short-term contract / temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Cranford, New Jersey area.

Verify documents and codes
Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans
Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired
Cash posting experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
