Description Benefits Assistant Needed!

We are offering a very flexible Part Time contract employment opportunity for a Benefits Assistant in the Cromwell, Connecticut area. In this role you would be responsible for overseeing the administration of employee benefits and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will also work with various HRMS systems and handle claims related to disability benefits and insurance reimbursements. We will have this role filled by the end of the week so do not hesitate to apply.


Assist in the administration of employee benefit schemes such as pension, health insurance, saving plans, bonuses, etc. Help in explaining the benefits services and packages to the employees. Respond to employee queries and concerns about their benefits services promptly and professionally. Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records of employee's benefits services. Liaise with insurance carriers and benefits brokers to resolve issues. Assist with benefits scheme reviews and renewals. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal benefits, insurance, and retirement laws. Communicate important updates and changes in benefits policies to staff members. Collaborate with the HR team to compile reports, analyze data and identify trends. Support the implementation of new benefits programs. Requirements Proven experience in Human Resources/Benefits administration role. Understanding of employee benefits principles and best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information system (HRIS). Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
