We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Change Management Specialist in Cheshire, Connecticut. The role involves managing end-to-end order processing for large multiline customer orders within the SAP system, as well as through EDI platforms. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless order flow and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end order processing for large multiline customer orders within the SAP system and through EDI platforms

• Ensure accurate entry and processing of orders, including order creation, verification, and fulfillment, while adhering to EDI standards and protocols

• Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless order flow and timely order fulfillment

• Address any order-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products, pricing, and order management processes across SAP and EDI systems

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline order management operations and enhance efficiency, particularly within the context of EDI integration

• Responsible for reviewing orders for accuracy, communication of and resolution of any order issues, processing in SAP, and working with distribution center to ensure on-time fulfilment and delivery to our customer’s distribution center

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions and their application in a business setting

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with About Time software

• Previous experience as a Buyer and knowledge of Buying Processes

• Skills in Component Selection within a purchasing context

• Strong customer service abilities and a customer-focused approach

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to negotiate and work with suppliers

• Adept at maintaining and reviewing Purchase Order Reports

• Ability to work in a team and independently when required

• Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills

• Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices

• Experience in collecting and analyzing data

• Strong leadership capabilities.
