Robert Half is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work for their client in Culver City that is in the entertainment industry. The Senior DevOps Engineer position will be hybrid 3 times a week on-site and 2 days remote. This role is integral to our operations and involves working across our organization to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of our corporate applications into a runtime environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in development, operations, testing, and troubleshooting of distributed full-stack architectures such as microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of corporate applications

• Work with high-level language ecosystems such as Python, Java, C#, shell scripts, and others for configuration and provisioning tasks

• Manage the installation, configuration, and provisioning tasks in languages such as Terraform

• Collaborate across the organization to troubleshoot distributed full-stack architectures such as microservices

• Use Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, Apex Coding, Atlassian Jira, Automation, AWS Technologies, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration (CI), Create Dashboards, Apache Groovy, Jenkins, Bash, Shell, Python, Docker, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to perform tasks effectively

• Use Atlassian Jira and other tools to manage project tasks and workflows

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in processing customer credit applications

• Keep accurate customer credit records and resolve any inquiries promptly

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements

• Proficient in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, Apex Coding, Atlassian Jira, and AWS Technologies

• Able to automate processes and create dashboards

• Experience with Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (CI)

• Knowledge of Apache Groovy, Jenkins, Bash, Shell, Python, Docker, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Ability to work effectively in a DevOps environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration

• Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)

• Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and with containerization technologies (Docker or Kubernetes)
