Our client is looking for a Design Lead, Product who will be working with on of their larger or more complex projects and accounts. They are responsible for developing experience concepts in order to solve the business challenge and presenting the work from concept to execution. Design Leads work quickly and collaboratively to perform rapid prototyping for validation of design solutions and high fidelity prototyping for user/usability testing using client-side technologies such as XHTML, CSS and Javascript.

These designers should be highly detail-oriented, able to organize complex systems to create one cohesive vision and solution as well as contribute to the development of experience strategies. They will approach problems both from a conceptual and executional level, ensuring the overarching vision is infused into every aspect of a project. They are responsible for providing direction and leadership to experience designers working on their project teams, scoping design phases of projects accurately as well as participating in pitches and industry events as required.

Requirements

Post-secondary education in Industrial Design or Computer Graphic Design

Experience as Visual Designer or Interaction Designer

The ability to define visual styles for web and mobile devices, use information architecture techniques to create site maps, taxonomies, focus groups, card sorts, and search engine optimizations.

Demonstrated proficiency/experience using XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Actionscript, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum

Consistently run simultaneous projects and/or multi-track accounts with little guidance and with autonomy.
