Description
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented data entry clerk to join our team. The main function of the data entry clerk will be to operate data entry devices, translate data, and maintain databases to ensure that they are current, accurate, and easily accessible. This position will be tasked with the responsibility of preserving the company's data system by carefully importing various details and figures.
Responsibilities:
Accurately entering data into appropriate fields or databases.
Conducting research to obtain information for incomplete documents.
Creating data backups and maintaining records for future reference.
Auditing data for errors and proactively fixing or suggesting solutions.
Composing and generating spreadsheets to input and analyze data.
Working with related personnel or departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Updating the existing database, removing outdated files, and correcting entry errors.
Abiding by the necessary data program techniques and procedures.
Submitting regular reports based on captured data.
Ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of data entry projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other data software.
Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
Good understanding of data confidentiality principles.
Organizational skills, detailed-oriented mindset, and ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
Experience in data entry, analysis, and management is preferred.
Comfortable working in an office environment and spending long hours in front of a computer.
Requirements
