Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounting Clerk in Dallas, Texas. The role is in the field of accounting and administrative tasks in a small family office setting. The successful candidate will be well-versed in using Excel, Word, AP, AR, and QuickBooks. This role is a permanent position, providing an opportunity to work in a small office environment and gain exposure to Oil & Gas accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Excel and Word to process and maintain customer records and perform administrative tasks.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks to ensure accurate financial management.

• Operate QuickBooks for various accounting tasks, enhancing financial transparency and efficiency.

• Engage in Account Reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data and prevent discrepancies.

• Adapt to a small office environment, collaborating effectively with a small team to meet accounting goals.

• Acquire and apply knowledge of Oil & Gas accounting to perform industry-specific accounting tasks.

• Respond to customer inquiries, resolving any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role

• Proven ability to perform account reconciliation

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is a plus.
