Description A thriving company is working with Robert Half to find a talented Accounting Manager. This is a successful Hospitality organization that will recognize your efforts. You might be a good fit for this position if you can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. Candidates with the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations preferred. This Accounting Manager role is a permanent employment opportunity, based in the Dallas, Texas area.

Major responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

• Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

• Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

• Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met

• Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants Requirements - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• Solid technology and analytical abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

• Adeptness in Insurance Payments

• Knowledge of Property Tax

• Strong familiarity with Financial Close Process

• Comprehensive knowledge of 10 Key Accounting

• EFT experience preferred

• EFT Payments experience

• Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

• Recent relevant financial experience

• Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
