Description
A successful organization that will recognize your efforts is working with Robert Half to find a talented Accounting Manager. In this role, it will be critical for you to lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. You might be a good fit for this position if you have the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. Based in the Dallas, Texas area, this Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for permanent employment.
What you get to do every single day
Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
Trial balance experience
Account reconciliation experience preferred
Revenue Accounting experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Recent relevant financial experience
CPA/MBA preferred
Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
