Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a growing company in McKinney to identify an Accounts Payable Clerk/ Office Manager. The Accounts Payable Clerk/ Office Manager must have 1 + years’ experience with AP, Data Entry, Payroll and Purchasing. The Accounts Payable Clerk/ Office Manager will also be responsible for the following:
The Accounts Payable Clerk/ Office Manager is primarily responsible for full cycle accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, payroll, general accounting support, monthly account reconciliations, and preparing various accounting reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process full Accounts Payable cycle
Match accounts payable invoices to purchase orders and packing slips
Code and enter accounts payable invoices into accounting software in a timely manner
Process weekly payments
Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors
Reconcile vendor statements and open purchase orders
Maintain all vendor information and files
Process expense reports and check requests
Send invoices to customers
Reconcile invoices to Customer PO’s
Process weekly 1099 payroll
Make collection calls
Responsible for bank deposits
Request quotes from all material suppliers
Miscellaneous ordering of items
Assist with oversight of accounting process and ensure entries comply with GAAP and the organization’s policies and procedures
Process new vendor documents and enter in system; prepare annual 1099 forms
Reconcile selected general ledger, bank and credit card accounts
Other duties or projects as may be assigned

Requirements - Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Data entry experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Purchasing Procurement experience
Purchase Orders experience required
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Strong organization skills
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
