Robert Half Billing Manager in Dallas, Texas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Legal industry for a Billing Supervisor/Manager located in DALLAS, Texas. The primary responsibility of this role is to work under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer and provide support to the attorneys and staff in the firm, while overseeing and managing the billing department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the billing department, including training, variance analysis, and process efficiencies

• Provide support to attorneys and staff in the firm under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer

• Print and distribute proformas to attorneys

• Process client invoices in Elite

• Maintain a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience with accounting and billing procedures

• Utilize skills in 'Billing Software for Attorneys', 'Elite 3E', 'Aderant'

• Manage the billing procedures and ensure they are being followed accurately

• Maintain and update client billing records in the firm's database

• Resolve any billing discrepancies or inquiries from clients

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry

• Proficiency in Billing Software for Attorneys

• Familiarity with Elite 3E and Aderant software

• Demonstrable leadership skills with a track record of managing a billing team

• Strong understanding of legal billing procedures and regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make effective decisions

• Excellent numerical skills and financial acumen

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred

• Knowledge of ethical guidelines applicable to the legal profession

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle client queries professionally.
