Description

Our client, a corporation based in Dallas, TX, has an immediate need for a Contracts Administrator to join their legal team. The Contracts Administrator is pivotal in managing the intake and execution of contract requests, resolving disputes, and maintaining compliance with company policies. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and drafting contract documents for execution; includes entering data in contract tracking systems, administrative tasks for paperwork, issuing certificates of insurance, and bonds. The successful candidate will liaise with various departments including accounting and legal, and will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the workflow of contracts, including the intake of contract requests, tracking negotiation progress, and filing completed contracts.

• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, operations, and legal departments.

• Draft or revise contract terms and scopes of work in conjunction with operations and legal requirements.

• Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes, and resolve disputes or conflicts with contractors.

• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, standards, and procedures.

• Utilize contract management software to maintain contracts.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of contract agreement terms and structure.

• Exhibit strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency in using CRM

• Solid Legal Knowledge, particularly in contract law

• Proficiency in MS Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Commercial Insurance and Indemnity

• Proficiency in Legal Writing and understanding of Legal Terminology

• Prior experience in Contracts and Contract Administration

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
