Your responsibilities
Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual
Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports
Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation
Meet client expectations by reviewing deliverables of self and team to make sure they meet client satisfaction
Comfortable handling responsibilities beyond formal job duties
Manage finance department operations, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
Work closely with executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation
Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals
Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts
Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis
Requirements - Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
CPA/MBA preferred
Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proven knowledge of month end closings
Experience with Intercompany Accounting
Deep understanding of Spanish Language
Microsoft Excel experience desired
Acquisitions experience
Expertise in QuickBooks
Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Excellent oral and written communication skills
