Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Corporate Controller in Dallas, Texas. As a Corporate Controller, you'll be tasked with managing the accounting functions of our manufacturing company, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and overseeing the processing of accounts payable and receivable. Your role will also involve preparing annual budgets, conducting audits, and closing accounts at the end of each month.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable
• Manage the complete accounting functions of the organization
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting
• Prepare the annual budget and forecast financial performance
• Conduct internal audits to ensure financial compliance
• Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely completion
• Familiarity with accounting software systems like Oracle and AS400
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the manufacturing plants
• Manage cost accounting within the manufacturing sector.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role as a Corporate Controller.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding and execution of Accounting Functions.
• Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ability to prepare and manage the Annual Budget.
• Strong background in Auditing and Month End Close procedures.
• Expertise in preparing Consolidated Financial Statements.
• Previous experience in a Manufacturing Company is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting is a must.
• Experience in dealing with Manufacturing Plants is preferred.
