Robert Half Credit Manager in Dallas, Texas

Description We are in search of a meticulous Credit Analyst based in Dallas, Texas. This role is pivotal in managing credit applications and maintaining customer credit records for our team. The industry in which we operate is dynamic and fast-paced, necessitating a high degree of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a portfolio of accounts, ensuring the timely collection of all past due invoices and establishing arrangements to bring accounts up to date

• Prepare bonds, liens, waivers, and releases for all job accounts within your portfolio

• Regularly review customer credit limits and prepare recommendations for review

• Set up new customers and job accounts, which includes reviewing third-party information and contacting direct trade references

• Enter new accounts and project accounts into the system and update as needed

• Process customer credit card transactions and check by fax processes

• Develop and maintain knowledge of Texas and Oklahoma Lien laws

• Ensure effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer services support skills

• Handle dispute resolution, cash deductions, charge backs, and account reconciliations

• Utilize PC and associate software with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Collaborate effectively with others in a shared office environment.

• Must possess a deep understanding of credit processes, credit applications, and credit limits

• Proficient in analysis of credit reports

• Must have knowledge of liens and their impact on credit

• Prior experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role in the finance industry is required

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field is preferred
