Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting:

• Consolidate the financial information of the Company for both Management and statutory purposes.

• Prepares all statutory reporting under US GAAP including financial statements and related notes.

• Oversee the accounting and reporting functions ensuring that internal control over financial reporting are adequate to meet all operational requirements.

• Research complex accounting issues and write-up Company position memorandum supporting the Company’s conclusion of appropriate treatment.

• Works closely with external auditors in the review of financial information, completion of the annual audit and audited financial statements.

• Ensures that a timely response is made to specific requests for financial information. This includes requests from senior management.

• Maintain equity records and liaise with transfer agent.

• Engage and manage tax service providers. Ensure timely and accurate federal, state and foreign jurisdiction tax filings.

• Assist CFO in managing business risks through a combination of limiting exposures, hedging and outsourcing the risk through brokered insurance programs.

• Responsible for the oversight of all accounting finance and treasury activities.

• Responsible for the development, maintenance and testing of the internal controls over financial reporting.

• Accounting Environment maintenance.

• Lead the identification, implementation and maintenance of ERP system.

• Maintain support for General Journal.

• Maintain systems approvals security master files.

• Staff Management – Motivate a team of accounting professionals and prioritize their projects and workload.

• Assist in any other financial projects as assigned.

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Monitor daily bank balances and cash position

• Monitor investments and liaise with money managers

• Prepare cash flow forecast

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills:

· Strong full cycle accounting experience

· Track record of process improvements

· Strong working knowledge of US GAAP

· Financial reporting

· Advanced Excel skills

· Ability to engage with C-level executives on matters of strategy, enterprise risk and compliance

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field

· CPA designation preferred

· Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
