Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a rapidly growing hospitality group with multiple concepts to find a Financial Reporting Manager to join their growing team! The Financial Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in their multi-concept/unit hospitality group, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial statements and reporting. This individual oversees the accounting department's functions, focusing on key areas such as financial reporting, ASC 842 compliance, debt and interest management, and distributions/equity. Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of internal and external financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards for distribution to lenders, investors, and auditors. Conduct technical research to ensure compliance with ASC 842 and other applicable accounting standards, recommending and implementing accounting policies and procedures as necessary. Manage debt and interest-related activities, including reporting and compliance obligations. Oversee distributions and equity transactions, ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance. Lead special projects and ad hoc reporting initiatives as required, providing analytical insights to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, facilitating audit processes and ensuring timely completion of financial statement preparation. Review and prepare audit schedules, maintaining consistency and accuracy across various business entities. Monitor compliance with GAAP, internal control procedures, and company policies, implementing corrective actions as needed. Provide leadership and guidance to accounting team members, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and detail oriented development. Undertake any other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the finance function. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities. • 3-4 years of public accounting experience or equivalent desired, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards. • Experience in a large, diverse multi-unit company, preferably within the hospitality or retail industry. • Proficiency in financial reporting, with a focus on internal/external reporting and cash flow statements. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and development. • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
