Description

We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Event Manager role in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on planning and executing a diverse range of events from intimate gatherings to large-scale public events. The Events Manager will collaborate with various internal departments and external partners to ensure each event aligns with our objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events, ensuring all details align with organizational goals.

• Foster effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including PR personnel and volunteers.

• Handle all aspects of event organization, from minor details to major logistics, ensuring high standards are maintained.

• Work autonomously to resolve issues and make adjustments as needed, ensuring flawless execution of each event.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions, adapting to the varying scale and nature of events.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of organizational needs and event objectives to plan and execute events effectively.

• Manage and coordinate social gatherings, donor events, and large public events, ensuring every detail aligns with organizational goals.

• Exercise flexibility and adaptability in managing different facets of event planning, gaining exposure across the organization.

• Collaborate with the volunteer engagement coordinator to integrate volunteer efforts seamlessly into events.

• Protect the organization’s mission and brand during the planning and execution of each event.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing large-scale events

• Knowledge of cloud technologies and database management

• Demonstrated skills in budget processes and financial management

• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with clients, vendors, and team members

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Must be able to travel as required for event planning and execution.
