Description We are offering an opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our team located in Dallas, Texas. The role falls within the industry of facility management and will involve the maintenance and improvement of our premises. The role is a short-term contract position, providing a unique opportunity for the right individual to demonstrate their skills in HVAC systems, facility management and electrical circuits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and plumbing components.

• Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.

• Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.

• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.

• Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.

• Oversee facility refurbishments and renovations.

• Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency.

• Monitor building systems and processes.

• Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, waste disposal and parking. Requirements • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or relevant position

• Proficient knowledge of facilities management principles

• Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance

• Understanding of electrical circuits and systems

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent; Higher degree in facility management will be appreciated

• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFM) will be a plus
