Robert Half Financial Reporting Close and Consolidations Analyst in Dallas, Texas
Description I. Position Description
• This position will also lead the monthly consolidation process, In addition to Hyperion administration and global accounting close and consolidation, this position will work closely with senior management to provide ad-hoc reporting and support across a broad range of financial issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the continued development of the consolidation and forecasting/planning tool, Hyperion
• Become the super user of Hyperion and provide training to the global finance organization to increase the adoption and functionality of the system
• Define and administer key master data tables in Hyperion for reporting and mapping purposes
• Create, implement, and manage processes and controls that assure accurate financial data and system access
• Research and recommend enhancements and technologies with a focus on continuous improvement
• Support the automation of data loads for all global entities
• Lead the monthly financial consolidation process
• Maintain proper intercompany balance reconciliations
• Develop and generate monthly reporting packages
• Assist with the consolidation of the annual statutory accounts
• Assist with the preparation of the Quarterly management accounts and Annual reporting requirements.
• Drive standardization and process improvement across the organization, implementing best practices and developing tools for improved reporting and data accuracy
• Participate in various cross-functional projects, research and ad-hoc reporting as necessary
II. Performance Objectives
• Monthly consolidation process completed in line with closing calendar
• Data integrity of Hyperion maintained
III. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or certification in process preferred
• 4+ year's experience; public accounting background preferred
• Experience with Hyperion is required
• Experience with SAP/Hana is preferred
• Strong Excel skills; demonstrated experience working with 3 statement models
• Excellent project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and communication skills
• Positive attitude and dependable team player
• Must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic global business environment
