Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Dallas, Texas

Description We are on the hunt for a skilled Bookkeeper with a strong focus on Bank Reconciliation to join our team. Based in Dallas, Texas, this role is centered around maintaining and organizing financial transactions and ensuring that our company's financial records are current and consistent with bank statements. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular and precise bank, credit card, and other financial reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of transactions.

• Keep records of all financial transactions up-to-date and accurate.

• Promptly handle collections of returned checks, chargebacks, and other payment errors.

• Manage and maintain an efficient accounting system.

• Collaborate with the management team to streamline financial data and manage the budget.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

• Utilize bookkeeping software, online spreadsheets, and databases to process transactions.

• Ensure that the company's financial system is updated and meets regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage taxation issues.

• Assist in other areas of financial management such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Expertise in using software systems such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Billing Functions, Odoo, Salesforce Administration, Excel Formulas, Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, Basic Bookkeeping, Bookkeeping, Bookkeeping Functions, and Computerized Bookkeeping System. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience with Odoo

• Understanding of Salesforce Administration

• Knowledge of Excel Formulas, Pivot Table, and VLOOKUP

• Basic Bookkeeping skills

• Extensive knowledge of Bookkeeping and Bookkeeping Functions

• Proficiency in Computerized Bookkeeping System

• Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Understanding of Full Charge Bookkeeping

• Ability to perform Monthly Bank Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Statements
