Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Dallas, Texas
Description
We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves managing complex financial data, maintaining bookkeeping records, administering payroll, and handling all aspects of bookkeeping for the company.
Review and perform daily accounting tasks including invoice processing, account reconciliations, bank deposits, etc.
Manage all aspects of accounting, A/P, Payroll and Billing.
Cash flow management including monitoring and projecting of inflows and out flows.
Principle duties include the preparation of financial statements.
Process expenses and generate expense reports.
Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Conduct monthly and annual budget reviews to identify cost efficiencies and savings.
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Establish and enforce proper bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a bookkeeping role.
Understanding of Sage ERP software is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
Strong numeracy and organizational skills.
Ability to construct and monitor reliable control systems.
Flexibility and a willingness to work on a range of tasks.
Track record of minimizing loss and fraud within an organization.
Comprehensive knowledge of the standard procedures and systems in bookkeeping.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Sage preferred
• Experience with Computerized Accounting Systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to prepare an Annual Budget
• Capable of conducting Cash Flow Analysis
• Experience with Sage 50 software
• Proficiency in Expense Reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred but experience is preferred
