Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant in Dallas, Texas. The chosen candidate will primarily assist our Land department with paperwork, filing and documentation tasks. The role does not involve traditional paralegal tasks such as case law research or filing legal documents. The position operates within the legal industry, specifically in the area of Real Estate Law.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the organization and filing of various legal documents

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Teams to handle and manage documentation

• Contribute to the Land department with clerical tasks

• Maintain and manage accurate customer records and documents

• Resolve customer inquiries and provide necessary assistance

• Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions

• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain an organized and efficient document filing system

• Assist with additional paperwork and documentation as needed. Requirements • Possess a fundamental understanding of Real Estate Law

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Teams

• Demonstrated experience in filing and managing legal documentation

• Knowledge and understanding of Private Equity

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Must possess a degree in paralegal studies or a related field

• Prior experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant is a plus
