Robert Half Part Time Bookkeeper in Dallas, Texas

Description We are offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will be expected to perform bookkeeping duties for a dental office and a small gym, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date. The individual will also be responsible for bank reconciliations, handling invoices and approving payments, as well as ensuring all transactions are correctly analyzed before payment or approval.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping duties for a dental office and a small gym

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions

• Handle invoices, including approving and making payments

• Analyze financial transactions to prevent incorrect payments

• Utilize QuickBooks for managing and processing financial data

• Use basic Excel skills for data entry and reporting

• Ensure all financial transactions, invoices, and payments are accurate

• Analyze and review financial transactions before approval or payment

• Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies

• Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks to perform all job duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Demonstrated ability in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in performing Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with QuickBooks for managing financial data

• Proficiency in performing Data Entry tasks with high accuracy

• Experience in managing Payroll for a sizable organization

• Demonstrated ability to perform Month End Close tasks

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Bookkeeping

• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and integrity

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
