Robert Half Payroll Manager (contract) in Dallas, Texas

Description

We are in search of an interim Payroll Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll processes, utilizing Oracle Cloud knowledge, and providing valuable input to enhance efficiency. The role is an engaging opportunity in a fast-paced environment that offers a short term contract employment opportunity. This is a 3 month contract position. Hybrid work schedule (3 days a week in the office) in Dallas, TX 75019. This position requires Oracle Cloud experience (this is a must have).

Interim Payroll Manager:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Utilize Oracle Cloud knowledge to enhance payroll efficiency.

• Provide valuable input to streamline payroll processes.

• Collaborate in maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts related to payroll.

• Assist with initial internal control evaluations within the payroll function.

• Work closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.

• Participate in other projects and analyses as needed.

• Utilize analytical skills for sorting, checking, and verifying payroll figures.

• Multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll management role

• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud is required; and PeopleSoft payroll systems

• Demonstrable experience with ADP - Payroll

• Proven ability to reconcile payroll discrepancies

• Strong knowledge of payroll tax reporting procedures

• Prior experience in the restaurant industry is preferred

• Excellent skills in process documentation

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Advanced knowledge of payroll best practices and regulations.
