Robert Half Project Manager - Systems (contract) in Dallas, Texas

Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager - Systems in Dallas, Texas. This role is within the pharmaceutical industry and will be focused on supporting accounting/finance optimization. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with specific skills in MS Great Plains Dynamics, WIP - Work In Progress, Fixed Assets, and Purchase Orders.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the implementation of the Great Plains Dynamics system within the accounting/finance department.

• Coordinate with different teams to ensure the effective utilization of the system for the processing of Work In Progress and Fixed Assets.

• Manage Purchase Orders and ensure their accurate and timely processing.

• Monitor the progress of the system implementation and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborate with other project managers and team members to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all relevant project information.

• Ensure the project is completed within the set timeline and budget.

• Report on the progress of the project to senior management and stakeholders.

• Provide training and support to team members on the use of the Great Plains Dynamics system.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a project management role

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Great Plains Dynamics

• Strong experience with WIP - Work In Progress

• Extensive knowledge of managing Fixed Assets

• Proven ability to handle Purchase Orders effectively

• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Management or Pharmaceutical Science

• Project management certification is a plus

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines

• Proven track record of successfully managing systems projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
