Conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans will be the main responsibilities in this position. Other essential tasks include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. This role via Robert Half provides an exciting opportunity to perform in a business partner capacity in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management with fellow colleagues. This Financial Analyst role is located in the Dallas, Texas, and it is a permanent employment opportunity.
Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly
Present and monitor forecasting reports
Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)
Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
This position requires a flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information
Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r Requirements - Cert Public Accountant - CPA (US) in CPA or Candidate required
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
Microsoft Excel experience required
Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized
3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Certified Public Accountant - CPA (US)
Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience suggested)
