Description An experienced Project Manager/ Sr. Consultant is needed for this position! You could work onsite with Robert Half Technology local client in the Dallas, Texas area by joining an existing team as their Senior Project Manager. You will strengthen your candidacy if you can be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. Major responsibilities
Engages with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects
Manages project planning
Equips detailed reporting to management on milestone completion, project status, and risk assessments
Provides the daily stand-ups, providing they are brief, timely, and focused
Creates and handles the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments
Cooperate closely with the Product Specialist, QA Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner/Product Manager
Collaborates with Product Owner/Product Manager to secure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are clean and feasible
Get involved to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager
Acts as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading scrum ceremonies
Verifies the RACI matrix for projects in a product line
Engages and communicates with designers, technical team members, developers, and stakeholders
Encourage the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products
Gives a hand to manage dependencies among cross-product teams
Make sure that the functional requirements are met, achievable, and tracked
Initiates and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner
Determines project with correct ticket workflows and boards
Aids to classify, manage, and identify risk for functional improvement requests
Acquires information from technical leads, QA leads and business analysts into counsel
Creates schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product
Conducts deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, Product Owner, and tech lead Requirements - Project management knowledge, along with strong operation and project management skills
- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
This most important thing for any applicant to this position is to be familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies
Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools is strongly preferred.
Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
A Project Management (PMP) certification is required for success at this position.
You'll do well at this position if you are flexible and focused
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience
